Born and raised in Surrey, England, Guy attended Heathside School and Esher College. Classically trained, he has worked in touring and regional theatre throughout the U.K. and The United States, including the prestigious San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, The Award winning San Jose Stage Company, as well as festival selection feature and short independent films. His role in the Mexico International Film Festival's 'Bronze Palm Award Winning' short film "Dissent," (2012) also earned him a nomination as 'Best Actor' at The World Music and Independent Film Festival, in DC.
Guy attended The Arts Educational Schools, and was a recipient of The Lilian Bayliss Award, graduating in 1995.
He first came to the USA as a director at Long Lake Camp for the performing arts in Upstate New York in the Adirondacks. He fell in love with it, and became a US resident a few years later in 1999.
Guy has lived in Rochester NY, Albuquerque, San Francisco, and presently in Buffalo NY, where he works as an actor in film, theatre, voice over and commercials.
Since his first professional audition at The Royal National Theatre he has consistently auditioned, and booked work wherever he lives.
As well as being an actor he is a professional tennis coach, a published poet and screenwriter, he gives Reiki sessions. His son, Caton, is an avid animal scientist, and plans on studying it at college.
He is a member of British Actors Equity, EMC, SAG e, and a green card holder.
