Nicole Salter

Nicole Salter is a native of Los Angeles. Her interest in acting
started with the stage, where she grew up watching her mother perform
locally and regionally, singing in Barbershop Quartets and with
organizations like The Sweet Adelines and the Marina Singers. She
didn't become interested in Film until her late teens, when she met her
first acting coach, Jennifer Lehman (of the Charles Conrad School of
Acting). The subtleties of film compelled her and in order to master
the art of film acting, she began working with Jennifer 2-3 times per
week. In 1997 she took a job as a Stand-in on the Academy Award winning
film "As Good as it Gets". She quickly caught the attention of the
director, James L. Brooks and he soon had her in the thick of things.
Working as the actress across from Nicholson, Jack, in many of his
close-ups, her confidence grew enormously. When her father married
well-known VO Director, Zimmerman-Salter, Kris, Nicole really started
to break out of the gate and maintained a steady workload of
independent films until July of 2000, when she accepted a job offer
from The Anthony Robbins Companies. Torn between leaving her career,
and taking advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity, she left
Los Angeles to travel and work for the most successful 'Success Coach"
in the world. Vowing to return to the film industry with a wealth of
knowledge and the competitive edge she would need to propel her career
further, she set off. Nicole has since returned to Los Angeles and is
moving ahead in the Entertainment Industry with Full Power. She
currently is producing some of her own independent projects while
looking for like-minded film-makers with projects strongly rooted
integrity. Nicole is coached by Bernard Hiller, a well known acting
coach from New York who was a part of the beginning careers of such
actresses such as Cameron Diaz.
On a personal note, Nicole has an amazing passion for animals, her own little tribe consisting of a Shar-Pei mix, 4 kitties and a Pionus Parrot. She is also very adventurous and feels most comfortable in the mountains, on the river, or at the beach. She have a great love of fast cars, motorcycles and martial arts, but maintains that she still loves to be a girl. She is an expert snow and water skier and would love to bring some of her physical talent to her work.
Even though this talented lady is busy and has a strong variety of interests and is result oriented, her favorite thing to do is "hang out on the river" or go "Two-Steppin with friends".
