When he was 21, Cory Hudson joined the US Army with the simple goal of helping serve his country. After completion of Airborne School and Ranger School, Hudson became a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division; he didn't know it at the time, but his service would help launch his 15-year career in entertainment and finance.
During his time as a producer at Harpo for the Dr. Phil television show Hudson met a single veteran mother (Liz Hooker) with three deaf-blind children. After giving the story to Dr. Phil to help family, Hudson continued helping the family with support from Dr. Phil and the Dr. Phil Foundation, Hudson then produced an internationally acclaimed documentary, Through Your Eyes, about Liz's inspiring story, which included a cross-marketing campaign aimed at raising awareness and critical funds for deaf-blind children. Hudson tapped Jim Finley, a music producer and composer who also wanted to help, to assist in producing Its soundtrack which later debuted just past Miley Cyrus at #4 on Billboard's Top Ten; the film is still actively used in school curriculum around the world.
Hudson went on to produce more than 30 music and video online media projects. His cross-cultural success has allowed him to secure major output blanket agreements in all media for both physical retail establishments and online media vehicles. Hudson was also the founder of a record label and publishing company, created to vertically integrate with his entertainment production company that cross-marketed film, television, Internet, and music projects for both domestic and international distribution.
Being a verifiable China expert in finance and business led Hudson to Shanghai where he worked with a Chinese credit facility approved by the Chinese government. He ran the international business development which included the company's mergers and acquisitions as well as their expansion into the US entertainment market.
