Rodrigo Amador

Rodrigo was born and raised in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, where he developed a passion for the arts. His parents recognized his talent and enrolled him in drawing and painting classes which helped him cultivate his craft. However, during the Nicaraguan civil war, Rodrigo's family immigrated to Canada for a better life and settled in London, Ontario.

Despite the upheaval, Rodrigo continued his artistic pursuits and set sights on attending the prestigious Sheridan College's Classical Animation program. However, he realized that the timing wasn't right for him and made the difficult decision to withdraw from the program. Determined to make a name for himself in the animation industry, Rodrigo moved to Ottawa, Ontario, in 1999, where he began his career in TV animation.

After gaining experience in TV and Interactive animation, Rodrigo decided to focus on becoming a storyboard artist. He landed lucrative contracts and eventually opened an animation studio with two business partners, Big Jump Entertainment Inc. After more than a decade of being an integral part of the executive team at Big Jump, he decided to pursue new opportunities and focus on his passion for storyboarding.

With a bold spirit and a hunger for success, Rodrigo has carved out a prosperous career in the animation industry and shows no signs of slowing down.
