Joey Lauren Koch(I)

Joey Lauren Koch was born in Los Angeles, California on March 10, 1982. An active only child, Joey always had a wild, inventive imagination and a flair for the spotlight. At a young age, her early talent was recognized and nurtured when she signed with the highly esteemed child agent Iris Burton. A natural on and off camera, Joey thrived in the commercial world and held steady work for several productive years. Choosing to further her education, Joey set aside her professional acting career while attending Beverly Hills High School. She dabbled in the Theatre Arts Department there, competing and winning first place at the DTASC Shakespeare festival competition in an inspired production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. After graduating in 2000, she was accepted into the prestigious film school at USC (University of Southern California). It was during those years in college where Joey realized her passion for music overtook her love of filmmaking. It had been more exciting for Joey to put together the soundtrack on her student films then direct them. Having completed her studies, she continued working in all areas of the music industry but now serves as a Music Supervisor for film/TV. Her flourishing company, StarBrite Music Supervision opened in the spring of 2008.
