Pete has been heavily involved in the VFX industry for more than 25 years with previous roles as Lead and Senior Artist, Head of Media and Director of Visual Effects within studios in the UK and abroad. In addition to being a Visual Effects artist and supervisor, he is a seasoned author with several publications and a decade's worth of trade magazine articles, also teaching visual effects workshops around the world and was an external examiner for respected institutions in the UK in the late 2000's.
Since 2009 he has been based in Hyderabad, India, after co-founding a multi-award winning visual effects facility - Makuta - which quickly became synonymous with producing quality visual effects work within the Indian market due to their attention to detail, rigorous quality control and creative environment thanks to Pete's guidance and leadership. Since inception, Makuta has worked on numerous national and international projects to much acclaim, including holding the title of Best Indian Feature for the highly successful Baahubali franchise and, most recently, RRR. Spearheaded by Pete, Makuta has contributed to multiple National Award winning films, including Eega and the Baahubali franchise amongst others.
