Exclusive: Here’s first footage of Bill Murray and Pete Davidson in crime-comedy Riff Raff, which gets its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival today [Monday 9].

The synopsis reads: “Vincent is an ex-criminal who more than anything, just wants a normal, peaceful life. Ahead of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday, Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate-owned Grindstone Entertainment Group have acquired the U.S. rights to Dito Montiel’s crime comedy “Riff Raff.”

The film follows a former criminal whose life is overturned when his old family shows up for a long-awaited reckoning. Written by John Pollono, the film stars Jennifer Coolidge, Gabrielle Union, Pete Davidson, Ed Harris and Bill Murray.

Grindstone and Roadside Attractions plan to release “Riff Raff” sometime in 2025 in at least 750 theaters, TheWrap has learned.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at Roadside Attractions to bring U.S. audiences this hilarious crime comedy,” Grindstone president and CEO Barry Brooker said Tuesday.

London, June 8 (Ians) West Ham chairman David Sullivan has confirmed that England midfielder Declan Rice is set to leave the club this summer. Sullivan made his assertion on TalkSport in the wake of West Ham’s 2-1 triumph over Fiorentina in the final of UEFA Europa Conference League on Wednesday.

When asked about his future after the match, 24-year-old Rice, who has played 245 times for West Ham, had said he “loved the club.”

It was inevitable after Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 1 when his parents refused to believe that he had schizoaffective disorder and refused to get him psychiatric help.

But on Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 15, David had been on psych meds for a while before having another psychotic episode. Who could have predicted that after his parents' attitude the last time?

Since David's parents had refused treatment, it would have made more sense if David's auditory hallucinations and belief he was dead came from being unmedicated.

However, where would the story have gone if Chicago Med had gone in that direction? We already had the story of the parents refusing to accept that their son needed help; we didn't need a repeat.

Christian Mercuri’s Capstone Studios is handling world sales on the pic and has reteamed with Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Studios to produce alongside Cage’s Saturn Films. Capstone and Hammerstone previously collaborated on Boy Kills World, an action-thriller starring Bill Skarsgård, currently in post-production.

“Fans can expect an adrenaline rush watching these two powerhouse talents go toe-to-toe,” said producer Allan Ungar.

The last time we heard a casting announcement for the upcoming Paramount Plus series based on the 1987 thriller Fatal Attraction (watch it Here), we learned that Jessica Harper, star of the horror classic Suspiria, had landed a role in the show. Now Deadline has revealed the names of two more cast members, and one of them is genre icon Dee Wallace! Wallace’s horror credits include Critters, Cujo, and The Howling, among many others. The second new cast member is David Meunier of Justified.

Academy Award-winner Nicolas Cage and Joel Kinnaman are set to team up in "Sympathy for the Devil," a new film from director Yuval Adler. The project is currently filming on location in Las Vegas. 

Nicolas Cage is just coming off of his critically acclaimed performance as a fictional version of himself in the Tom Gormican film "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent." Joel Kinnaman is currently starring in the Apple TV space exploration series "For All Mankind." He'll be seen next in the John Woo action-thriller "Silent Night." 

"Sympathy for the Devil" will be set up by Capstone Global for worldwide sales, with a title introduction at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival. The event runs from September 8 through September 16, 2022.

In season two, a group of young males finds themselves in the same situation. Both groups are forced to navigate emotional and physical obstacles in the face of their extreme circumstances. The male survivors are played by Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe, Charles Alexander, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Reed Shannon, Tanner Ray Rook, and Alex Fitzalan.

Deadline reports that Prime Video has canceled the buzzy drama after two seasons.

The series burst onto the screen in 2020, landing a speedy renewal and rave reviews.

As the first YA series on the streaming service, it broke through in a way many shows that followed it did not.

However, the second season premiered in May, failing to reach its predecessor's success.

Season 2 of The Wilds continued to follow the harrowing ordeal of a group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, and they didn't end up there by accident - they've secretly been recruited into an elaborate social experiment.

The season ratchets up the drama by revealing that the girls aren't the only ones being studied... there's a new set of subjects, an island of teenage boys, who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment's puppet master.

Exclusive: Prime Video’s The Wilds will not return for a third season. I hear the cast and crew of the YA survival drama were just told about the decision, which comes almost three months after Season 2 was released May 6.

The Wilds, one of the last shows developed and produced by the late Jamie Tarses, was an important series for Prime Video and Amazon Studios. It was part of the very first batch of YA pilots ordered by Amazon Studios soon after Jennifer Salke took the reins as part of an expansion in that arena. It’s hard to believe that by the Season 1 finale of “The Wilds” two years ago, the eight teenage girls left to fend for themselves on a remote island after a plane crash had only been stranded for three weeks. The Amazon Prime Video series creator Sarah Streicher’s well-written script and excellent casting made this series one of the most talked-about in 2020, and its second season is has been hotly anticipated ever since. Although we’ve seen versions of this premise before, what makes “The Wilds” unique is that it’s clear from the start that what we’re witnessing is an experiment.
