Rob Zombie's Firefly family returns for a real day of the dead in the 3 From Hell trailer.
Free the three! Now we can have a real day of the dead. Just when you thought there was no justice in this world, the first full-length 3 From Hell trailer promises a bloodbath and a devil of a time. The odds were a million to one against Capt. Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis Firefly (Bill Moseley), and Vera-Ellen "Baby" Firefly (Sheri Moon Zombie) surviving their standoff with the police at their last rampage, but with a little faith, nothing is impossible.
3 From Hell is a family movie. The Firefly family has a deadly tradition going back to 2003, with Rob Zombie's directorial debut House of 1000 Corpses making way for the 2005 sequel The Devil's Rejects. Written and directed by Rob Zombie, the trilogy tells the story of Dr. Satan and his merry band of murderous misfits.

Need to catch up? Check out the previous Nashville recap here.
Juliette does a mean, lowdown, plain-old bitchy thing in this week’s Nashville and, I swear on Dolly Parton’s storied wig collection, it could not come at a better time for the Cmt drama.
What better to pull us out of our post-Rayna grief haze than Music City’s other diva extraordinaire making a painfully on-brand return to form? With all of the feeeeeeelings that have been making the rounds since Big Red’s unexpected trip to the Grandest Ole Opry of All, it feels kinda refreshing to see Ms.

Here at EW, Fall TV Wish List is a new weekly series in which our TV critics Melissa Maerz and Jeff Jensen weigh in on what they hope the coming season will bring for some of their favorite shows. Today: ABC’s Nashville, which premieres its second season on Sept. 25.
Where We Left Off
Not much happened in the season finale—just a car crash, a funeral, a marriage proposal, a paternity test surprise, a sex tape scandal, a blackmail attempt, a pregnancy confession, and a spectacular, puking-into-potted-plants-after-13-years-of-sobriety whiskey bender. Oh, and Brad Paisley performed on the CMAs! Whew!

Disaster was inevitable in the "Nashville" episode, "A Picture from Life's Other Side." With romantic entanglements, legal troubles and general angst from every quarter, disaster may have been inevitable. It's even possible that the murder-suicide of Jolene and Dante was necessary before the end of this one.
Here are the main disasters we get.
Romantic disaster
Everything is going peachy between Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten), but that's not exactly sitting well with some other people. And by other people, I of course mean Teddy (Eric Close). After Teddy walks in on Deacon spending time with Rayna and the girls, he overreacts and issues a restraining order.
This is because Teddy is the mayor and is now a big man and tough and a total jerk.
Alas, Teddy has forgotten that Rayna is the tough and occasionally ruthless one in this relationship. She goes straight to her father...

At the outset, this week’s Nashville seems like a happy affair. Scarlett is set to make her Grand Ole Opry debut, Rayna is ready to announce her new label and Gunnar is building buzz about his new song. Even Juliette – who’s seriously not thrilled to pay off Dante for a blackmail sex tape – is ready to hand over the cash and watch the problem fade away in time for the CMAs.
Nothing terrible happens… until lots of terrible things happen. Quickly. In ways that will only lead to even more terrible things happening. Did I mention the dead bodies?...

"I have some good news. I'm getting married!" Yes, Nashville is returning with a bridal bang this Wednesday as Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) is engaged to her NFL boyfriend of a hot minute, Sean (Tilky Jones). And while Juliette seems thrilled to be tying the knot, we're not so sure her troubled mother Jolene (Sylvia Jeffries) will be so delighted by the news. Actually, we're pretty darn sure she won't be. Why? Because we've got an exclusive sneak peek at Nashville's return this Wednesday, Jan. 9, which features Juliette breaking the big news to her mother in rehab... After breaking the news and showing off her rock, Juliette tells Jolene a little bit about Sean ("He's...

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — except for TV. During a large part of December, our TV options are as disappointing as coal in a stocking, as several shows hibernate until January.
We here at ScottFeinberg.com don’t want you to be without entertainment as you anxiously await the return of your favorite series (especially with in-laws visiting!), so here are seven hidden gems to check out this winter hiatus:
7. ABC’s Nashville catch-up (Jan. 2 at 10 p.m. Est)
I just had to sneak this one onto the list. Although Nashville isn’t taking the stage again until Jan. 9, ABC is offering fans an opportunity to catch up on all the drama, tunes and steamy romances.
“Nashville: The Whole Story” will highlight the intersecting tales of country legend Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and rising star Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) as they...

Rayna & Scarlett both put an end to their love triangles -- for now. After weeks of awkward sexual tension between Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Eston), the country queen finally made a declaration on the Nov. 7 episode of Nashville: Her marriage to Teddy (Eric Close) is the most important thing to her. And she sealed it with a 'click,' rejecting Deacon's late-night phone call — from jail. Deacon had gotten into a little scuffle with a heckler outside the Bluebird and ended up in the back of a squad car; and Rayna might have been more likely to take Deacon's call if she'd been aware of Teddy's big secret. We learned this week that Maggie (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) helped Teddy embezzle $2 million to help make ends meet. He claims they never hooked up, even though Maggie definitely wanted to, but a nosy photographer caught them holding hands at the end...
