Lee Ji-yeon, known professionally as Lina, is a South Korean singer and actress who has shone on both the pop music stage and in the world of musicals. She started her career in 2002 as part of the short-lived R&B duo Isak N Jiyeon. After the group disbanded, she joined the girl group The Grace in 2005. When The Grace took a break in 2010, Lina embarked on a successful career in musical theatre. She has become a renowned musical actress, captivating audiences in both original and Korean productions of famous musicals like Fame, Moon Embracing the Sun, Jekyll & Hyde, Notre-Dame de Paris, Sweeney Todd, and Les Misérables.
On a personal note, Lina married fellow musical actor Jang Seung-jo on November 22, 2014 after dating for two years. They met while performing in the musical "Temptation of Wolves" and have since built a family together.
Lina's talent extends beyond the stage, as evidenced by her work in Montecristo: The Musical Live (2021) and The King's Dream (2012).
