A lot of fuss has been made that I had a rural upbringing - but I've experienced the same problems that people from major cities experience. I've seen poverty first-hand; I've seen drug epidemics. I've been on welfare. I've gone without eating. I got family members that have been to jail. There's this whole perception of me as a shallow-minded, hillbilly hick that sits back in the woods drinking Bud all day.
