Tim Crescenti founded Small World IFT in 2005 with his wife, Colleen, and has ensured the company's reputation for seeking out the most unique and entertaining television properties around the world for format distribution continues to grow. Named by Broadcast magazine as a 'Top Dealmaker' in international television, from reality and game shows to world concert festivals and documentaries, Tim has a history of identifying the most unique and phenomenally successful projects.Prior to launching Small World Tim was Vice President of International Production for Fox World, where he covered the worldwide roll-out of Fox's expanding roster of international formats including Joe Millionaire, Simple Life, and My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé. Before Fox poached him, Tim was Vice President of International Formats for Sony Pictures Television International. Tim acquired and introduced such winning formats as Russian Roulette and the BBC 2 mega-hit, Dragon's Den. Tim has brought the world such global hits as Dragons' Den (aka Shark Tank), I Survived a Japanese Game Show - Big in Japan, All-Star Lifeguards, Silent Library, Miss Country Girl, The Night Patrol, Tarrant Lets the Kids Loose - Old Enough and most recently The Fan and Japanizi Going Going Gong!
Tim is recently credited with bringing the South Korean format; Grandpas Over Flowers to the US, where it premiered on NBC in 2016 under the title Better late Than Never, and features the legendary cast; Henry Winkler, George Foreman, William Shatner and Terry Bradshaw. The Show aired for 2 seasons with great ratings, and has been adapted in over 8 other countries.
