Emma Noelle Sumlin is an American actress, director, and screenwriter. She is the daughter of Shea Sumlin and Tiffany Elliott. Sumlin was born in Denton, Texas, and lived there until age six. Her parents then moved their family of seven to Fresno, California after her father got a job as a pastor. After seven years, Sumlin and her family moved back to Dallas, Texas where she attended Founders Classical Academy of Lewisville, graduating in 2021. Sumlin started acting in stage plays and musicals in 2013 and began acting in shorts, features, TV shows, and commercials during her Freshman year of college. Since then Sumlin has continued acting but has made her way into the writing world as well. In the summer of 2022, Sumlin interned for Kingdom Story Company where she had the privilege of critiquing Jesus Revolution, working on the editorial team for Johnny Cash: The Redemption of an American Icon, and being on Kingdom's storytelling team. This sparked her passion for directing her own stories, and in the fall of 2022, Sumlin directed a short film called We Were Happy and in 2023 began her new short film Timeless which is set to begin shooting in the summer of 2024.
