After seven years of failed attempts to bring Siddharth Anand and Rohit Dhawan’s Rambo remake to life, the project has been shelved due to financial constraints and the waning box office appeal of its lead actor, Tiger Shroff. Despite Siddharth Anand’s interest in repackaging the project, Rohit Dhawan has chosen to move on.

The director of *Desi Boyz* spent four years on the Rambo adaptation, but it never progressed beyond pre-production. Anil graciously left the film, hoping to work with Sajid Nadiadwala on another project soon,” a source close to the development told us.
