Nia Adiza was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She's of Persian and Mexican descent. Her distant relatives in the entertainment industry were actresses Zsa Zsa, Eva, Magda (The Gabor family) and actress Sherrie Wills. They inspired Nia to pursue her career as an actress. She started acting at a young age, doing local community theater productions, and auditioning for school musicals, as well as commercial and film work.
