[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Bosch: Legacy Season 2.] It was an emotional rollercoaster throughout season 2 of Bosch: Legacy. Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) started on a hunt to find his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz), who was taken from her home by rapist Kurt Dockweiler (David Denman). Between the abduction and being buried alive, Maddie is forever changed by the ordeal personally and professionally as a young cop in Los Angeles. After Bosch and Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) find Maddie safe, they’ve got to deal with their own issues. These include having the FBI led by Agent William Baron (Anthony Michael Hall) on their tail, stemming from the Carl Rogers murder in the first season. Making matters worse are crooked detectives Don Ellis (Max Martini) and Kevin Long (Guy Wilson), who are out to pin a murder on Chandler’s innocent client David Foster (Patrick Brennan), and take Bosch and Chandler down in the process.

Loosely based on Michael Connelly’s The Crossing, Season 2 of the Titus Welliver-led Freevee series pics up right where Season 1 left off, with Harry’s daughter (played by Madison Lintz) having been abducted by the lucha libre mask-wearing man we saw hiding in her closest at the close of the freshman finale.

Harry Bosch is returning to Amazon Freevee on Oct. 20 – and he’s taking matters into his own hands to save his daughter in a new teaser for “Bosch: Legacy” Season 2.

The drama series’ second season finds Bosch (Titus Welliver) working alongside Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) to track down a masked assailant who kidnapped his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) before time runs out. But as the FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder, Bosch and Chandler are placed under suspicion.

In the clip, Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) tells Bosch that he needs to let authorities do their job to find his daughter, to which he replies: “Don’t cut me out!.” He also makes clear that while the FBI has to do things the “right way,” those rules don’t apply to him.

Things are shaping up for Bosch: Legacy Season 2. The Amazon Freevee series – which the streamer has already renewed for season 3 – will return in the fall of 2023. The new episodes will pick up after season 1’s cliffhanger ending, which seemingly saw the screen cutter rapist abduct Maddie Bosch. The show’s three core cast members will be back, as well as a number of supporting characters from Bosch: Legacy Season 1 and Prime Video’s original Bosch series.

Bosch: Legacy, the spinoff series in the Bosch franchise, has earned a third season renewal from Amazon Freevee, the free ad-supported television platform, ahead of its second season premiere this fall.

Bosch: Legacy follows Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, as a retired homicide detective turned private investigator on the next chapter of his career. The series also features attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, played by Mimi Rogers, and Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch, a rookie police officer.

During the second season, Bosch and Chandler work together to seek out a killer who just might find them first. The flagship series from Michael Connelly, writer and executive producer, ran for seven seasons on Amazon proper and starred Welliver as Bosch.

“The story of Harry Bosch has evolved over the years, and his journey is far from over. This renewal of Bosch: Legacy is a testament to the enduring power of the world Michael Connelly built.

Bosch: Legacy has been renewed for Season 3 at Freevee, well ahead of the series’ sophomore run (which is still on track to premiere this fall).

According to Amazon, which announced the pickup as part of its NewFront presentation on Monday, the first season of Bosch: Legacy (which streamed in May 2022) “built on the loyal fan base of the original series and enticed new audiences,” delivering a “higher number of viewers than any previous season of Bosch” (which of course streamed on Prime Video proper).

Harry Bosch will continue to crack cases for the foreseeable future. Ahead of the Season 2 premiere this fall, Bosch: Legacy, the spinoff of the longrunning Amazon crime series, has been renewed for a third season. Amazon Freevee announced the renewal Monday, prior to the Amazon NewFront presentation.

Additionally, David Denman (Mare of Easttown), Patrick Brennan (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2), Rafael Cabrera (Too Old to Die Young), Bruce Davison (X–Men) Jessica Camacho (All Rise) and Guy Wilson (Angelyne) have joined the cast for the upcoming Season 2.

“Bosch: Legacy” has been renewed for Season 3 at Amazon Freevee ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere.

The announcement was made ahead of Amazon’s NewFront presentation in New York on May 1. The first season of “Bosch: Legacy” debuted on Freevee in May 2022, with Season 2 set to air this fall. Like its predecessor, the Prime Video series “Bosch,” the Freevee series is based on the Bosch novels written by Michael Connelly.

Sony Pictures and Joel Silver are teaming up for the feature film “The Dryline,” from screenwriter David Rothley.

The spec, an action thriller, follows a kidnapping and ransom negotiator tasked with finding a nine-year-old boy who went missing on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota. After finding the boy, she must fight to keep them both alive when they come under attack by the very people who hired her — corrupt FBI agents and cold-blooded police officials who want the boy dead because of what he knows.

Rothley developed the script with indie producer Patrick Brennan, a founding member of Nine Dot Entertainment. Silver brought the script to Columbia Pictures president Sanford Panitch via his agents at WME, taking it off the table before it was shopped to the town, sources said. In early development stages, the project is still seeking star talent and a director.

Exclusive: Sony has preemptively bought the spec The Dryline written by David Rothley, with Joel Silver attached to produce. Patrick Brennan will serve as exec producer. Sources add development is still early on the project and no director or talent are attached at this time. Plot details are being kept under wraps.

The spec marks the first major sale for Rothley, who is repped by WME, Bellevue Productions and attorney Matt Jacobs at Bruns, Brennan & Berry, PC. Silver, the veteran producer of such hits as The Lethal Weapon series and Sherlock Holmes films, most recently produced Superfly for Sony.

During a recent Reddit Ama, an executive producer of Captain Marvel seemingly confirmed a hidden Agents of Shield reference.

Captain Marvel certainly had its fair share of references to Shield as an organization, and with the appearance of a younger Agent Phil Coulson, fans of ABC’s Agents of Shield were happy to see their beloved television show represented in the larger McU more prevalently than in the past. Brennan will make his debut in the eighteenth episode "Providence" and will have an even larger role in the nineteenth episode.

According to the Daily Mirror the U.K.'s Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, opted to switch out the royal staff's Christmas movie night selection from the latest James Bond installment - Skyfall - for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Evidently, the Prince, some of his regal family members and the palace's staff of about 100 got together to enjoy an annual holiday movie night and because he had already seen Skyfall he chose to screen Breaking Dawn - Part 2 instead. This week, we'll be giving a big farewell to "The Twilight Saga" with the release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" on Friday.

Judging by the clips and trailers we've seen so far, we can expect to see some serious vampire Bella (Kristen Stewart) action and get to catch up with the one and only Cullen coven.
