Harsanyi is a filmmaker and cinematographer best known for his work on Sandra's Sunday Best (2021). He earned his BFA in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he also received an athletic scholarship and several academic honors. He has a passion for visual storytelling and for creating impactful and engaging content across different genres and platforms.
Harsanyi has worked for prestigious production and media companies in the US, such as Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Skydance, Sony, Legendary, and Marvel, and for film distributors like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Apple TV, and Disney+. As a member of IATSE ICG Local 600, he worked with various camera gears, including cranes, arm cars, drones and collaborated with diverse and talented teams of directors, actors, and crew members. Some of the productions he has been involved are the Dune, Maria, House of Spoils and Echo.
After completed his five-year long program in the US, he moved back to his homeland, Budapest, Hungary, to learn more about the European film culture and gain more experiences from the Hungarian film industry. Harsanyi has been working for local shows such as Futni mentem, Marsra Magyar, Rise of the Raven, and A Mi Kis Falunk, as well as he has been pursuing his own personal projects. His goal is to continue developing his skills and knowledge in filmmaking, and to explore new opportunities and challenges in the global film market.
