Edwin Wendler has worked on projects which have earned more than $3 billion in box office income worldwide. His feature film credits as a composer include the upcoming nature documentary DreamScapes (narrated by Academy Award winner Kate Winslet), the action thriller Mafia Wars (starring Tom Welling and Cam Gigandet), the horror comedy Dead Ant (starring Tom Arnold and Sean Astin), and the anthology movie Tales Of Halloween (segment Friday The 31st). His score for the documentary The Right To Love - An American Family was nominated for a GoldSpirit Award. Mr. Wendler won "Best Score" awards at the Los Angeles International Film Festival, Indie Short Fest, Vegas Movie Awards, and Florence Film Awards.
In addition, Mr. Wendler has been prolific in video games, writing music for more than two dozen games including Synced, Undawn, Torchlight: Infinite, Game For Peace (a.k.a. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds), Apex Legends, Call Of Duty: Mobile, Iris.Fall, Bladed Fury, Ring Of Elysium, as well as additional music for Tencent's most profitable game, Honor Of Kings, for which he received a G.A.N.G. Award as well as a Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination.
Edwin Wendler composed additional music for the box office hit, Non-Stop (Universal/StudioCanal, starring Liam Neeson). He worked as an arranger and additional composer on movies such as X-Men: Apocalypse (20th Century Studios), The Nice Guys (Warner Bros., starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling), X-Men: Days Of Future Past (20th Century Studios), Little Fockers (Universal/Paramount), and Into The Blue (MGM/Sony). In television, Mr. Wendler arranged and wrote additional music for the Showtime series Sleeper Cell: American Terror and NBC's ratings hit, Fear Factor.
During his four years with the renowned Vienna Boys Choir, Edwin Wendler toured the world, singing in hundreds of concerts and dozens of opera performances. He earned Certificates in Film Scoring and Screenwriting from UCLA Extension and participated in the prestigious ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop.
Concert commissions include the choral/orchestral piece, Consolatio (broadcast on CBC), instrumental arrangements for the Hollywood Soloists, as well as choral works for the Illumni Men's Chorale. Mr. Wendler's critically acclaimed string quartet, The Marriage, has been performed in Canada and France.
