Simone McAullay

Simone McAullay was born in Perth, West Australia. After high school she traveled for several years before studying drama at The Actors Centre in Sydney. On graduating she found success as a series regular on many homegrown television shows such as Blue Heelers, The Strip and Home and Away. She has appeared in two seasons of Broadchurch, the BAFTA winning drama which went on to international success. While in the UK she enjoyed roles in dramas such as The IT Crowd, Count Arthur Strong, The Smoke and The Coroner.
Returning to Australia in 2019 Simone played Francesca Boulay on The Commons, a climate change thriller for streaming service Stan. In 2020 she travelled to New Zealand to play Alisa Black in the Netflix US live adaptation of Cowboy Bebop. In 2022 she was excited to join the cast in season two of La Brea for NBC, playing the role of Kiera.
