Jack Walton(VIII)
- Actor
Jack Walton is an Australian actor who most recently starred in Netflix's Clickbait as Vince alongside Zoe Kazan and has developed his craft through the theatre scene working with Auckland Theatre Co, Riverside Theatre, ATYP & KXT as well as developing his skills from Australia's best arts schools (Newtown High School of the Performing Arts & the SVAPA program at Mount Lawley Senior High), taking him to London & Paris to workshop with renowned companies like the National Theatre & Punchdrunk.
Jack also has a keen entrepreneurial background, founding Panimo, a creative org that has programmed 18 shows, 11 developments and supported 120 artists coming out of Covid lockdowns which lead Jack to leadership positions in the arts from an early age. Jack's time as Board member of ATYP allowed him to take part in shaping Australia's national cultural policy and he is now under mentorship at Griffin Theatre, one of Australia's only Aussie work focused major theatre companies.
Jack has always felt a gravitation towards the arts, and a particular knack for acting, but after the passing of his father, actor, John Walton, Jack discovered a script that John had written over a decade prior that was a complete surprise. From that moment, Jack has been dedicated to building a career significant enough so he can make the movie his Dad couldn't.
