While exploring freedom of expression, the creative process and the healing potential of innate wisdom, the Dialogue community installation and its crew travel across the United States, visiting over 9 diverse cities, including: Chicago, San Francisco, DC, Denver, Santa Fe and New York. Unfolding like a narrative drama, Dialogue demonstrates how profoundly the unexpected can inspire, how our public spaces are being co-opted and, in moving interview footage, how the wisdom of the ages revitalizes lives-all against the back-drop of America's ever-changing landscape. It's not easy taking a public art installation cross country, though, and as the crew gets bogged down by road fatigue, they are harassed in some locations, get swamped by the weather and ignored in others. Rallied by appreciative viewers and a surprise meeting with one of the luminaries quoted on the panels, they forge on ... This video clip is an excerpt from the installation scene in New York's Union Square, which includes: interviews with some amazing, insightful people and a beautiful graphical quotations treatment.
