Richard Vetere screenplay adaptation of his own published stage play Caravaggio won The Golden Palm for the Best Screenplay at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival 2021. His teleplay adaptation of his own published play The Marriage Fool starring Walter Matthau and Carol Burnett is now streaming on Amazon. He co-wrote the screenplay adaptation of his own novel The Third Miracle directed by Agnieszka Holland starring Ed Harris and Anne Heche produced by Francis Ford Coppola. His Live Fast, Die Young & Leave a Goodlookin' Corpse: a memoir of the 1970s was published in 2021. His play Zaglada was published in 2019 and had its world premiere at the Ensemble Stage in 2022. His other novels include The White Envelope; I, Human; The Writers Afterlife;;and Champagne & Cocaine. His new novel She's Not There will be released in 2023. His most recent published poetry collection is "The Other Colors In The Snowstorm."
