Raelle Tucker is a playwright and television writer/producer. The
daughter of a playwright and a costume designer, Tucker grew up in Ibiza,
Spain. She moved to Los Angeles at seventeen where she became a
founding member and artistic director of the CAG Theatre Company.
Tucker attended the American Film Institute's prestigious Directing
Workshop For Women where she wrote and directed the short film The Clay
Man. A screenplay Tucker co-wrote, Cheeks was a top three finalist in
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's Project Greenlight, and she was featured
on the HBO series, which helped launch her television career. Tucker's
work in television includes Eyes, Supernatural and HBO'S True Blood,
where she served as writer/ producer for six seasons. Tucker has been
nominated for Emmy, Golden Globe, GLAAD, Writer's Guild and Producer's
Guild awards. And she won a Constellation Award for best Science
Fiction Teleplay, and a Women's Image Network Award for Outstanding
Film/Show Writer.
