Lucien Spelman is a Film/TV and stage actor recently seen in principal, supporting, or recurring roles in shows and films by ABC Signature/Showtime, HBO/Max, Paramount, IFC Films, Lionsgate, Scott Free, Romulus, and others. In the 1970s and early 1980s, Lucien toured and performed with his father as a "prodigy" Classical and Flamenco guitarist. In the 1980s, Lucien studied acting, first under his mother, Actress Janeanna, and later under Bob Moss as a scholarship recipient for 2 seasons of NYU/Playwrights Horizon's Summer Sessions. In the 1990s he apprenticed and worked as a stuntman with record-breaking stuntman Rocky Capella.
As a director, he won several awards with his semi-biographical short film "Whatever Happened to That Weird Kid?" and he co-directed (with his wife Isabella) a music video for Robert Plant's song "Rainbow" which was hand-picked by Robert Plant to represent his song as the Genero spec contest winner in 2015.
