Alison Semenza King grew up in Reno, Nevada, where she mastered the art of folding pizza boxes at her dad's pizza parlor while daydreaming about making movies. At the age of 18, she moved to Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California, at the School of Cinema-Television. After graduation, she worked at Royal Oaks Entertainment in Post Production and worked her way up to Executive in Charge of Production for the Phoenician Films Division. Soon after, she joined Franchise Pictures as Vice President of Production, overseeing the Franchise Classic Division, where she produced many films including the Sundance favorite and Humanitas Prize Winner "The Green Dragon" with Forest Whitaker and Patrick Swayze.
After leaving Franchise, Alison became an Independent Executive Producer, Line Producer and UPM. Over the past 20 years, she has shot films and television in 9 different countries, and coast to coast within the US.
Alison is a member of the Producers Guild of America and Directors Guild of America.
