At this point, Bob's Burgers has been on the air for over a decade, and Fox typically keeps renewing its established animated shows year after year. However, since the network no longer owns the series, they don't profit from syndication and streaming sales as they once did. At some point, Bob's Burgers could be cancelled on Fox and moved to a Disney-owned channel or streaming service. Will the series be renewed for season 14 on Fox, or could this be the series' last year on the network? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.

It's always a hoot when Linda's parents visit. Unless you ask Bob, then it's a nightmare from hell.
Bob and Linda tried to squeeze their yearly visit with Gloria and Al on Bob's Burgers Season 11 Episode 8 when the elderly couple had a layover at a local airport on their way home to Florida.
Gloria and Al are your typical sitcom in-laws, with their hearing problems, difficulty with technology, and tension with their daughter's husband. And this airport meet-up gave us all of that and more.
Almost everyone married can relate to Bob and his aversion to his in-laws, but Bob's annoyance with Gloria and Al runs a bit deeper than your average Joe's.
It was sweet to find out that Bob's various problems with Linda's parents all stem from his love for his wife.
You know what they say, if you love something, let it go walking off in an airport.

Golf Digest, a publication not widely known for investigative journalism, is being credited with helping to overturn the wrongful murder conviction of an innocent man.
On Wednesday, Valentino Dixon, 48, gained his freedom in a Buffalo, N.Y., courtroom after 27 years behind bars for a crime that prosecutors now say he did not commit.
“They were kind of the first stone that started rolling down a hill as far as reinvestigation of the case,” Donald M. Thompson, an attorney who represented Dixon for 20 years, told TheWrap on Thursday. “They kind of started the avalanche here.”

CNN has suspended pro-Trump contributor Paris Dennard after the Washington Post published a sexual misconduct accusation stemming from his time working at Arizona State University in 2014.

Right wing provocateur Mike Cernovich is having a moment. Over the last week he has led a reign of terror on Twitter, exposing old tweets of Hollywood’s mighty and powerful and — to the surprise of some — has wrought real consequences. Here is a round up of some of his most infamous moments past and present.
Sam Seder:
Mike Cernovich targeted the MSNBC contributor over a years old “joke” about his daughter being raped. MSNBC dropped Seder before reinstating him after a public backlash
Perry Fein:
Los Angeles Times freelancer Perry Fein slipped into Cernovich’s DMs threatening violence. He was out from the iconic La paper just hours later
James Gunn:
Cernovich helped lead an online campaign highlighting hundreds of old tweets from Gunn “joking” about pedophilia. Gunn offered an apology, but was dropped by Disney from it’s popular “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise. He remains...

I’m still in shock. Who on earth would have believed that Disney would fire Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn? After all, the man took a bunch of D-list comic book characters and turned them into a billion dollar franchise and was on the cusp of shooting the hugely anticipated third installment.
His removal was reportedly the result of the filmmaker calling out Pizza-Gate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec on Twitter. In revenge, Posobiec and white supremacist Mike Cernovich scoured Gunn’s Twitter history, found some dirt and began a campaign aimed at Disney designed to punish Gunn for disrespecting them and President Trump.
Needless to say, the studio bending over backwards to please fascist chuds hasn’t gone down particularly well on Twitter, with the internet reacting as so:
If you're a "liberal" that is happy about James Gunn's firing yet you choose to ignore the...

Right-wing provocateur Mike Cernovich claimed another scalp online Friday when Disney fired James Gunn from its “Guardians of the Galaxy” series because of old tweets that Cernovich helped publicize.
Disney made the decision after an organized internet campaign centered around old jokes Gunn made about rape and pedophilia. In a statement, Disney called the posts “indefensible.”
Just hours earlier, Cernovich had helped promote a campaign targeting USA Today columnist Cheri Jacobus, after she posted a bizarre tweet about convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
In both cases, Cernovich wasn’t the first to find the offending content, but provided an online megaphone that amplified it.

Seder’s contract ends in February and he has no scheduled appearances between now and then, a spokesperson for MSNBC told TheWrap. “Don’t care re Polanski, but I hope if my daughter is ever raped it is by an older truly talented man w/a great sense of mise en scene,” wrote Seder in the now deleted tweet from 2009. NBC and CNN have both reportedly expressed interest in a Us version of Have I Got News For You.
Cable network TBS previously filmed an unbroadcast pilot for the American series, with stand-up comic Sherrod Small as one of two team captains.
Small told a fan on Twitter that he is unaware of whether TBS plans to pick up the pilot, but claimed that other networks have since expressed an interest in the project.
"Last I heard NBC and CNN are really interested too, so we will see," he wrote. "I'm ready to start taping!"
Us comedian Sam Seder took the role of host in the pilot, with Michael Ian Black as Small's rival team captain.

British comedy quiz show mainstay Have I Got News For You might be coming to American audiences. TBS has taped a pilot of the show, with Sam Seder serving as host, the show's U.K. producer confirmed on Twitter. This isn't the first time the format has been adapted for American audiences: NBC taped a pilot of Hignfy back in 2009, with Sam Seder as the host then, too, but the show didn't get past the pilot stage. How much longer do we have to wait for a U.S. version of Mock the Week, TV executives?...

Oooh,it's a big day for WilSon on today's Days of Our Lives
News
Arrow has cast its Count Vertigo. He'll be played by Dirty Sexy Money and Fringe alum Seth Gabel.
Yes, Joe Biden filmed a cameo on Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? I love it.
In a promising sign, Go On has promoted Sarah Baker, who plays "Cat Lady" Sonia, from recurring guest-star to series regular. At first glance, Sonia looked like a one-note character, but she's given the comedy some great stories, so I take this as a sign that the Go On team has, at least, a clue.
In case you thought the cancellation of Jersey Shore meant our national nightmare would soon be over. Not so fast. MTV is giving Vinny a "hybrid talk/reality series".
Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot added former star of The Fades, Iain De Caestecker. He'll play a tech guru.

Exclusive: TBS has ordered a pilot for an American version of the long-running BBC panel show Have I Got News For You. The comedy cable channel just shot the pilot with comedian Sam Seder hosting and comedians Sherrod Small and Michael Ian Black as team captains. Produced by Hat Trick Prods, the original series is a primetime staple in the UK, where it has been on the air for 22 years, first on BBC Two and now on flagship BBC One. The show features a guest host (watch a clip with Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch as host below), and Ian Hislop and Paul Merton as captains of two two-person teams. Their guest team members are most often comedians, celebrities, writers or broadcasters. The panelist take a satiric look at news, current events and tabloid headlines and go through game challenges. The Film:
More of an interesting curiosity piece than something truly funny, Who’s the Caboose? is a Diy film that was made in the 1990s, focusing on the comedy scene in NYC and La, the ups-and-downs, the hardships, and the limited rewards. It might have been forgotten if it didn’t star Sarah Silverman, David Cross, and Andy Dick. Director Sam Seder even went on to some fame in Home Movies. If the film has anything going for it outside of these stars, it’s the improv feel of the scenes, mixed with its earnest simplicity.
The film follows Susan (Silverman) who leaves for La just in time for pilot season, yet it’s her boyfriend that’s getting all the attention. Simple, lightly funny, Who’s the Caboose? frankly shows the ills of becoming a comedic talent in an industry that just is freaky as La. It’s as un-ambitious as they get,...

For the who’s-who of alternative comedy (Sarah Silverman, H. Jon Benjamin, Andy Dick, Sam Seder, Marc Maron, Todd Barry, David Cross, Kathy Griffin, Andy Kindler) that makes up its cast, the scruffy, improvised 1997 mockumentary Who’s The Caboose? is the cinematic equivalent of a high school yearbook, chronicling how green, fresh-faced, and bursting with enthusiasm they looked back in the day. As a sociological document capturing future cult heroes and superstars at embryonic stages of their careers, it has a value to comedy geeks disproportionate to its tiny budget and modest ambitions. Writer/director/star Sam Seder draws ...

"The Resident" (2011)
Directed by Antti Jokinen
Released by Image Entertainment
This actually isn't the first time Hilary Swank has seen one of her films go direct to DVD after the films "Red Dust" and "Birds of America" suffered the same fate, but surely there was more riding on this horror film from the resurgent Hammer Films about a recently separated doctor who learns her Brooklyn loft isn't quite as wonderful as she thought it would be. "Secretary" screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson co-wrote this film, which co-stars Christopher Lee, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Lee Pace.
"The Mikado" (1939)
Directed by Victor Schertzinger
Released by Criterion Collection
"Topsy-Turvy" (1999)
Directed by Mike Leigh
Released by Criterion Collection
Sold separately, Criterion is making no secret of trying to appeal to Gilbert and Sullivan fanatics with special editions of "The Mikado," a straight-up adaptation of the musical duo's most famous opera, and Mike Leigh's "Topsy-Turvy,...

Your Own Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star debuts on Own on Jan. 7th, and they've released the list of the ten contestants competing for their, well, own show. Included on the list is West Hollywood's Ryan O'Connor, who says he wants to be the country's gay best friend. "If a variety show and a traditional talk show had a baby, that'd be my show." Apple has rejected that anti-gay "Manhattan Declaration" iPhone App for a second time. Ha! Does this mean we can look forward to another unintentionally hilarious Nom ad? Below you can see the cover of the latest addition to the "Female Force" line of comic books, this time spotlighting Rosie O'Donnell.
It's official! The first single from Britney Spears' upcoming album is out next week and is called ... "Hold It Against Me." Nope. Not going there.

Countdown guest host Sam Seder tonight tackled global warming, an issue that predictably popped back up into the national consciousness in the wake of this weekend's blizzard in the Northeast U.S. Seder, also predictably, viewed attacks on global warming science as faulty, and brought on conservation biologist Reese Halter to make this point - but not before providing a...unique explanation himself.

Pre-orders are now being taken for One Day in the Life of Rufus Wainwright and One Day in the Life of Jake Shears. The series gives an inside glimpse into the private lives of celebrities, following them over the course of one day, and both Rufus and Jake provide text for their respective books. Katie Couric is the latest celebrity to guest star on Glee. It'll no doubt have something to do with sectionals. Tomorrow night's episode of ABC's What Would You Do will feature...

Cedergren takes a character, an urban police offer who is exiled into a rural, remote village town after having a nervous breakdown, and twists it into a complex individual who has no predictability, no hints about what he’s going to do next. He’s thrilling...
