Cali Treadwell Rossen; actress, model, singer, artist, director and producer grew up in Hyannis, Massachusetts. She began her journey as a professional actress in the 90's after taking a semester of theatre & art @ the University of N. Texas.
Cali's a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
She was scouted & cast in her first commercial while she was still in high school. During her senior year she was a dancer performing with a dance team during half time shows at football games. When she committed to a career in the arts, her launch into the acting sphere was playing dual roles in the Italian film, 'Doors of the Unknown', Written & Directed by Mauro Salvi. Filming was complete over 45 days in a fantastical location in and around the city of Chiavari, Italy.
In 2001 Cali booked a role in the TV Pilot, Actors Reel World, and principal photography took place in Los Angeles. During filming she fell in love with the City of Angels and has made it her home base ever since. Once Cali was established in LA, she co-founded a production company & cultivated a vast foundation of experiences. She produced numerous film projects & acted in more than 20 films, various television shows, and stage productions.
Among her leading roles in film with multi Emmy award winning actors, 'The Sand Castle', opposite Ed Asner, and 'The Hollywood Quad starring Bryan Cranston.
Cali and her husband Chris Rossen, an award winning screenplay & novel writer traveled to Tunis, Tunisia 6 months after the revolution started in 2011 to co-produce a film. The foreign film, 'The Locker's Heart', written & directed by Ghazi Gafsa was completely filmed in Gafsa, Tunisia. Cali plays CIA Agent Lidia, who is captured by Irakians and tortured. Her husband in the film is played by Tunisian Star Nejib Belhassen.
Among Cali's passion projects is her Documentary film, 'Operation Project Hope'. OPH is a not for profit dedicated to empowering children with positive affirmations. Each year they choose an elementary school where volunteers paint the walls of the school with empowering words, phrases and quotes.
Cali was crowned Ms. North Hollywood Elite in April 2017 at The El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, California. It was her first pageant and the experience elevated her confidence and gave her a platform to discuss the importance of Emotional Intelligence. She has always been committed to using her gifts and talents in the realm of media to assist in elevating others to strive to be their best & fulfill their dreams.
