John saved up enough money in Junior High to buy a season ticket to the newly opened South Bend Century Center theater. He enjoyed getting lost in the spectacle of the theater. He went on to live on a Tug Boat in Michigan during the summers away from college at Ball State University where he took his first acting class. After college he spent five years as General Manager of Atlanta International Raceway (now Atlanta Motor Speedway). A chance Casting director workshop with Marc Hirschfeld in Tampa Florida propelled him to Load his car and drive to Los Angeles. He got work in the first six months in LA. That movie got him his SAG card. John met his wife on the lot at CBS Radford. They have three daughters together. John also has spent time behind the camera, directing and producing various projects.
