Dunn Pearson, best described as a Composer/Arranger/Pianist hails from
Cleveland, Ohio and credits three women for his success, Jewell
Strother (mom), Alverna Mayfield (grandmom) and Mrs. McManning (first
piano teacher). These three women provided all the tools Dunn would
ever need. Labeled a "child prodigy", Dunns' music abilities shined
throughout his school years being named President of his high school
(John F. Kennedy) marching band. Received a music composition
scholarship to Kent State University where his first big break
materialized. The O'Jays recruited Dunn as their keyboardist. Touring
the world, Dunns' career quickly blossomed. Moving to New York, Dunn
expanded his credits to commercials (McDonalds, Wendys), television
(New York Undercover), Broadway (Amen Corner), motion pictures (Ride),
records (Mary J. Blige, D'Angelo). Recently Dunn was honored by being
inducted into the inagural JFK/Hall Of Excellence and further honored
as guest speaker. Given the prestigous Resolution Of Congratulations by
the City Of Cleveland, Dunn has made home proud.
