Don Nunley followed his father into the film industry in 1959. He has film credits as a property master, set decorator and production designer. He has been a member of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences since 1977. In his 30 years on motion picture sets he worked with Jack Lemmon on Save the Tiger, Dustin Hoffman on Little Big Man, Steve McQueen on 24 Hours of Le Mans and Robert DeNiro on the Deer Hunter plus many other major feature films. In television he worked with Ronald Reagan (Chrysler Theater), Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway (McHale's Navy), Chuck Conners (The Rifleman), Larry Hagman and Linda Gray (Dallas.) He also started the first product placement agency in Hollywood, working to get products into movies and TV shows. His company was responsible for ET drinking Coors beer, Tom Cruise wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses in Top Gun and Risky Business, and Robin Williams finding his first job in America at McDonald's in Moscow Across the Hudson. For several years Don has been called upon to present programs for civic groups, college classes, cruises lines, and private parties. He is considered an expert in product placement and consults with several Hollywood studios. Don also wrote a book on the making of the film "Le Mans" called "Steve McQueen: Le Mans in the Rearview Mirror."
