Roberta Morris Purdee

Roberta Morris was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She was in the first graduating class of Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, and studied Early Childhood Education. When Morris discovered that Early Childhood Education didn't pay a living wage, she began a film career. Beginning as an assistant to actresses Lee Grant and Brenda Vaccaro, Morris has since worked on more than a dozen projects with Lee Grant over the past 20 years and has produced many of Grant's films. Married to actor Nathan Purdee, their first child, Taylor Armstrong Purdee, was born in 1992. Purdee and Morris have begun their own production company Karmic Release, Ltd.
