Ezra Miller will star in Lynne Ramsay's psychological thriller "We Need to Talk About Kevin" which is based on Lionel Shriver's novel. The young actor joins Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly in the story which tells of a boy who goes on a horrific rampage two days before turning 16 years old. Filming began this week in Connecticut. Ramsay and Rory Kinnear adapted the screenplay. Pic is presented by BBC Films and the UK Film Council. International Film Co's Jennifer Fox ("Michael Clayton") produced. Also producing are Fox and Independent's Luc Roeg and Bob Salerno. Ramsay's last time at the helm of a film was 2002's "Morvern Callar" starring Samantha Morton, Kathleen McDermott and Linda McGuire.
