J.D. Lewis is one of the top Acting Coaches in America. He established The Actor's Lab in Los Angeles in 1990. He has studios in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Palm Springs, CA, Charlotte North Carolina and Portland Oregon.. He has worked with some of the top names in the entertainment industry. J.D. has appeared as an actor on Friends, ER, Suddenly Susan, Oliver Beene....all the way back to L.A. Law. He is best known for playing Ross Parker on the NBC series, Midnight Caller with Gary Cole. Commercially, in the 80s and 90s, he was the face of Vidal Sassoon, L.A. Gear (with Kathy Ireland), and Bud Lite. He lives between Tavira, Portugal and Santa Barbara, California and does workshops all over the world. In addition to his success as an actor and acting coach, he is also known for his work as a philanthropist and humanitarian. He founded The Twelve In Twelve Foundation in 2012. He has been celebrated for setting a world record. He and his two sons, Jackson and Buck, were the first family in history to have traveled to all seven continents in one year, specifically to do humanitarian work. Among his many accomplishments, he is a triathlete and an IronMan.
