For twenty-eight years, he has worked as visual effects supervisor, colorist, post producer, workflow designer, consultant and instructor. He has worked in several production and post-production companies in Latin America, the United States, Asia and Europe, as well as collaborating directly with software development companies such as Alias Research Inc., Discreet Logic, 5D Solutions, Assimilate Inc., Colorfront, and camera manufacturers like Sony and RED Digital Cinema.
He has worked in hundreds of commercials in Mexico, USA, Latin America and Asia, as well as dozens of conferences and workshops in relation to Digital Cinema, VFX, Color Management and Stereoscopic Postproduction, like Filmart Hong Kong, Broadcast Asia, Broadcast India, and many other fairs worldwide. He was professor of the Regular Course of the Higher Studies Workshops in the EICTV Cuba, in the Postproduction and Assimilate Scratch Workshops for film and TV. Kerlegand has 20 years of experience in the development of production systems and stereoscopic post-production.
He has worked in numerous films and TV Shows in the US, Asia and Mexico, developing mainly with artist and supervisor of visual effects and in his experience, he has an Ariel nomination for achievement visual effects with the film Colosio (Mexico 2012). He recently was Associate Technical Instructor of Sony PSLA, Instructor of RED Digital Cinema and Certified Instructor and Product Specialist of Colorfront worldwide. His most recent work as a post producer was the development and implementation of workflows for HBO LA and Cinematic Media MX for Netflix, Amazon, Telemundo and Viacom shows, in which he developed and trained the area of technology for the delivery of all the productions of LatAm in 4K HDR, thus putting itself in the forefront of delivery of contents in the region so that the quality of the products is one the highest in the global market.
He has trained many productions and post-production companies in different countries for Color Managed Workflows, in order to increase the level of quality and simplify post-production processes for feature films and TV shows.
