Boise Holmes, a Baltimore MD native, has been seen in numerous Film/TV
projects which include: Kiss the Girls, Chicago Fire, Law and Order
SVU, 30 Rock, CSI:Miami and Days of Our Lives. Some
Voice-Over/Commercial's include: Wal-Mart, Toyota, Verizon and
McDonald's
Boise began acting in high school where he was cast in his first stage role as Purlie in Purlie Victorious. He went on to star in other roles such as Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar", Walter Lee in "A Raisin in the Sun, Jim in "Big River" (for which he was awarded "Best Actor" by the Thalian Association) and Tony Kirby in "You Can't Take it With You". With his portrayal of Othello he won 1st place in National Shakespeare Competition at NY's Lincoln Center for which he was awarded a full scholarship intensive to study at England's Oxford School of Drama. There he portrayed the title role of MacBeth.
One of his most exciting and challenging theatrical experiences, to date, was when he landed the title role of "Mufasa" in the German production of Disney's The Lion King, in which the show was performed completely in German. Landing in the States after a year he was asked to return to Germany to play "Mufasa" for the show's 10yr anniversary. He also played "Scar" in The Festival of The Lion King in Hong Kong.
Other International appearances include Japan, Monaco, and London. He continues to write songs, poetry, short stories, and has performed his own "One Man Vignette's" around the world.
Boise will be starring as David in the upcoming Trilogy "The Truth About The War in Heaven".
