Brad Greenwood grew up in Brisbane, Australia.
After graduating from the Queensland college of the Arts, He began working in the Australian motion picture industry. He gained experience as a make up artist and prop builder on a number of offshore films, movies of the week and television shows throughout the 90s.
Eventually Greenwood became interested in production design and visual effects art direction, and has been active in this capacity over the last few years.
