Michelle Purple formed Iron Ocean Productions with Jessica Biel with the mission to create original content and a platform that enhances strong female voices.
They are currently in production on Limetown for Facebook, starring Biel, Marlee Matlin and Stanley Tucci.
Their most recent project, USA's limited TV series "The Sinner," garnered Biel Golden Globe, Emmy and Critic's Choice award nominations for best actress and nominations for both as series executive producers on the project. The company produced the 2nd season of the hit show that starred Carrie Coon and Tracy Letts and are in development on the third season. They are also producing the adaptation of Chris Cleave's Novel "Gold" with Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions.
Iron Ocean has a vast development slate "Camelot" with Sonar Entertainment set up at USA and "The Facts of Life" with Appian Way and Norman Leers' company Act 111 at Sony; "Where We Found Her" by New York Times best selling book by Kimberly McCreight with UCP; "Bohemian Grove" a period musical with Martin Scorsese.
They have the reality show "Going Dolls" with E! and Bravo and is additionally developing content for Podcasts.
Iron Ocean also developed and produced 2017's "The Book Of Love" starring Jason Sudeikis, Maisie Williams, Jessica Biel and Mary Steenburgen.
As, Michelle Glass, she began her career with DreamWorks/Amblin Entertainment in 1996, where for three years she learned the ropes of motion picture productions working for Steven Spielberg. Producer, Suzanne Todd, then enlisted to work at Team Todd during which the company produced such films as Boiler Room, Memento, Idle Hands and HBO's If These Walls Could Talk. She then ran director Rob Cohen's company collaborating on such hits as The Fast and the Furious, XXX and serving as Associate Producer on Cohen's Stealth
