Daisy Gerber(1937-2022)

Raised in Hungary, and attended UCLA's Film School in Los Angeles, where she was the only female film major. Later in the mid-1960s, Gerber was also the only woman among the 3,000 people applying to the Directors Guild training program. She was accepted and was the first woman to graduate from that program.
