[September 2005] He was one of 12 actors who were offered exclusive two-year contracts by the Sydney Theatre Company to be known as the Actors Company. The other actors also offered contracts are: Deborah Mailman, Marta Dusseldorp, Pamela Rabe, Peter Carroll, Dan Spielman, Brandon Burke, Eden Falk, Marco Chiappi and Hayley McElhinney.

He was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1986 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to the performing arts.
