Tony is an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker whose projects have screened around the world, including Sundance, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Tony's most recent production is the groundbreaking supernatural drama series Trickster (CW/CBC) where he served as the show's Co-Creator, Co-Showrunner, and Executive Producer. Trickster bowed at TIFF, was vaunted as Series of the Year by Playback Magazine, received 15 Canadian Screen Award nominations, and won Best Television Drama Writing Award from the Writers Guild of Canada (WGC). Tony's additional writing and producing credits include the highly acclaimed 12 Monkeys (SyFy/Hulu), and the Peabody Award-winning series Orphan Black (BBC America). For Orphan Black, Tony was twice-nominated for the WGC Best Television Drama Writing Award, taking home the prize the second time. As a filmmaker, Tony wrote and directed his sci-fi spec ARQ for Netflix Originals, starring Robbie Amell (Resident Evil, Upload). ARQ premiered at TIFF and received several award nominations from the Directors Guild of Canada, the Writers Guild of Canada, and the Canadian Cinema Editors. Tony's other feature film writing has garnered both the WGC Jim Burt Screenwriting Prize and the WGC Charles Israel Screenwriting Award.
