Phillipa Davis is a New York-based producer with 15 + years of experience in producing films, documentaries, scripted series, commercials, live events and music videos. Phillipa is also a 2-time Grammy nominated Producer known for her work on the short form video "Everything is Everything" featuring Lauryn Hill, directed by Sanji and a long form documentary "10 Days Out, Blues from the Back Roads" directed by Noble Jones. Phillipa was born in Belize City where her fascination with films from an early age led her to pursue a career in TV/Film. Early within her career, Phillipa committed herself to creating experiences and educating herself on the different aspects of filmmaking. She segued between films, commercials and music videos, leading her to great partnerships with trend setting and renowned directors such as, Hype Williams, Christopher Robinson, Guy Ferland, Mellicent Shelton, Gina Prince Bythewood, Marc Klasfeld, Nzingha Stewart, Andrew Dosunmu and many others on numerous critically acclaimed projects. Phillipa's projects have aired on various networks including VH1, MTV, HBO, Showtime, CBS and BET. Phillipa has produced campaigns for Vogue Italia, Coach, Estee Lauder and Mac Cosmetics, as well as having the unique opportunity to work with international director, the late, Manoel de Oliveira on feature film "Cristovao Colombo - O Enigma." Making music videos nurtured her love for filmmaking since she often played a pivotal role through her creative involvement. In recent years, Phillipa has been executive producer on the award-winning short film "Curse of War" and she also collaborated with veteran director, Roger Spottiswoode on "Either Side of Midnight" to be released in 2022. She founded her production company Synerfilms and is active within the New York Women In Film And Television association. Phillipa is writing and developing scripts for full length features, developing TV series, and creating original concepts for TV.
