He grew up in Tel Aviv. Both his parents were born in Israel. His maternal grandmother came from Aleppo, Syria, and his maternal grandfather was from Lebanon. His paternal grandfather came from Turkey.
He and his friends founded the Pessia Daughters, Israel's first drag group.
