Barbara Bingham(I)

Barbara Bingham is a dual American-Australian citizen and actor based in Sydney since 1996. She was born and raised in Hawaii, where she started her TV career on the original Hawaii 5-0. She moved to LA in 1978 to study acting and spent the next 18 years honing her skills in TV, film, commercial, and stage roles. Barbara's film credits include lead roles in Friday the 13th Part VIII, Soldier's Fortune, Cop Target, and Beyond Darkness. On TV, she appeared in the mini-series Space, the movie-of-the-week Bridge Across Time, and popular shows Knots Landing and The Colbys. 2019 brought roles in the Shudder Original Series Deadhouse Dark, and the Steve Jaggi Company romantic comedy Romance on the Menu. In the same year she co-wrote, executive-produced and starred in her first short film, the Hitchcockian style thriller, Over The Edge which is now in 2024, being developed into a feature film with the help of Screen Australia Development Funding.
