Ilie Agopian was born in 1941 in Bucharest, Romania. He graduated from
the Director of Photography Section of the "National Romanian Film and
Theater University" in Bucharest, in 1968. He emigrated in the '70-ies
to the US and continued his career as Director of Photography in
TV-Serials, first in Cincinatti, OH, later in Charlotte, NC, where he
now lives. He is married to Diane Maria Agopian and has a daughter
Karina.
