Charlie has worked as Gaffer on many films, including Bad Lieutenant directed by Abel Ferrara, Big Night directed by Stanley Tucci and Campbell Scott, and Julie Taymor's Oedipus Rex. He also gaffed the TV shows Everything's Trash (Season 1, 2022) for ABC, and Pause With Sam Jay for HBO (Season 1, 2021).
Charlie has also worked as a Cinematographer, shooting commercials and independent films, including Mort Du Chien, directed by Paul Hipp, which starred Edie Falco.
As Writer, he is working on a few projects in currently development. His recent feature script, Immaculate, won the Acclaim Screenplay Contest, and was a finalist in many other contests. He was a participant in the NY Film and Theatre Workshop in 2017.
During his AFI Directing Fellowship he wrote and directed the comedy short "...Missile Crisis," winning the $10,000 Martin Ritt Fellowship Award, and airing on HBO Latino. He also co-wrote a heist comedy, Playas from the Himalayas, optioned to Robert Townsend at Rebel Planet Films with producer Matthew Carpenter.
But he's mainly a Gaffer now, and if you like his IMDB credits you can go ahead and hire him if you want.
He might tell you some war stories.
