Cinematographer Pierre Gill started at the age of 24, by forming Kino Films, a successful Montreal based production company, producing hundreds of commercials and music videos. He then worked as a cinematographer with many respected international directors in cinema and television, including Denis Villeneuve, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Jean-Marc Vallée and many more.
His work includes projects such as "Dune Prophecy", Disney+ "Percy Jackson" and Netflix "Dead Boy Detectives" as the main Director of Photography. He has been honored over than 45 times, including nominations and awards from both the American (ASC) and the Canadian (CSC) Society of Cinematographers, and many prestigious international film festivals. He also obtain the prestigious Kodak New Century Award for his Outstanding contribution to the art of cinematography.
Gill has always been as well a filmmaker at heart, also participating in several projects as a director, producer, editor, consultant, Virtual Production DP, and much more. He is admired for his diverse skills, his cinematic eye, and his efficiency on a set.
