Actress Angie Harmon’s dog, Oliver, was shot and killed by an Instacart driver on March 30.
Harmon placed an Instacart order for her family’s Easter celebration. During the delivery process, she believed she was communicating with an older woman by the name of “Merle”; however, the delivery driver that appeared at her home was a young man named Christopher Anthoney Reid, who shot her dog.
The bullet broke all of Oliver’s ribs and exited under his left arm. Oliver was immediately taken to an emergency vet but did not survive.
The driver claimed that the action was performed as “self-defense,” but Harmon said that there was no evidence of this.
“[H]e didn’t have a mark on him,” Harmon told People. “He didn’t have a scratch; he didn’t have torn jeans. He didn’t have puncture marks. Most importantly, he didn’t ask for help.”

Angie Harmon has sued Instacart and grocery deliveryman Christopher Anthoney Reid after Reid allegedly shot and killed her dog Oliver on March 30.
In a lawsuit filed last Friday in Mecklenberg County, North Carolina, Harmon is suing and Reid for trespassing, invasion of privacy, wrongful conversion of personal property (Oliver), negligence/gross negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress, punitive damages.
And she’s suing Instacart for negligent hiring, supervision and retention and negligent misrepresentation.
She is seeking $25,000 in damages, though the full amount will be determined in court.
The suit alleges that Reid, who delivered groceries under the name “Merle” with a photo depicting an older woman, used a false identity while delivering groceries, with Harmon having “no idea” she was communicating with “a tall and intimidating younger man.”

Law & Order has had a rotating roster of actors through its many years on air and various spin-offs. But there was one familiar actor on the show who was admittedly brought on for the sake of eye candy.

Law & Order fans may have fond memories of Harmon’s character Abbie Carmichael on the show. The actor portrayed the young Ada from seasons 9 to 11, while also making a guest appearance on the spin-off Svu. As is the case with many actors, Harmon left the show simply to pursue other career opportunities.
“I left Law and Order because I really honestly did want to do movies and did want to be a movie star since I was a little girl,” Harmon once said according to Cinema Confidential.

The TV academy has honored voice-only performances since 1992, when six cast members from “The Simpsons” collectively became the first actors to receive Emmys for such work. The Best Voice-Over Performance category became an official non-juried one in 2009 and was then split into two categories in 2014: Best Character Voice-Over and Best Narrator. Lauren Richards just hit the jackpot, starring alongside Angie Harmon in Lifetime's Buried in Barstow.
Lauren's character, Joy, is the daughter of Hazel King, played by Harmon.
We jumped on the phone with her to talk all about the movie and how she landed this exciting role.
It's a very fun movie. What was the audition process like for you to join Buried in Barstow?
I got the breakdown from my agent with The People Store in Atlanta, and I got the breakdown. And I was like, 'oh, my gosh, this character is so me.' I loved the whole feeling of who she was.
And then the other cool thing that just truly hooked me in was when I saw Angie Harmon was going to be part of the project. And I immediately was like, 'oh, I totally know that lady. She's such a boss.' I've definitely seen some Rizzoli and Isles,...

“She’s just flat-out meaner than Jane Rizzoli,” says Angie Harmon (above) of Hazel King, the gruff ex-hitwoman who’s finally brought Harmon back to TV six years after TNT’s cop dramedy Rizzoli & Isles ended. In Buried in Barstow, the first film in a planned franchise, Hazel’s low-key life running a Barstow, California, diner while raising her headstrong teen, Joy (Lauren Richards), is disrupted by the return of her former boss, Von (Rizzoli’s Bruce McGill). Harmon dishes. Why Hazel? Angie Harmon: Her devotion to her child. Being a mom myself, when your kids get hurt, it’s difficult not to just go absolutely bonkers. Hazel got to do all the things that I’ve really wanted to do. She’s trying to be on the right path. It’s just every time she turns around, something new is happening. She and Von have an interesting relationship.

Law & Order made a triumphant return to NBC this season for a revival that mixed old and new cast members.
Fans have been clamoring for more of Angie Harmon as A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael since her departure in 2021.
With Anthony Anderson announcing his departure after one season back, there is an opening for Harmon to make a comeback, and it sounds like the star would be interested.
"I would love it," Harmon shared to Entertainment Tonight about a potential return.
The good news is that Dick Wolf reached out to Harmon when work commenced on Law & Order Season 21.
"I was like, 'Look, guys. I mean, I would love to maybe do an arc or something,'" Harmon said, adding that Abbie was "just so fun and wonderful."
Harmon looks back fondly on her time on the series.
"Just know that was a really, really wonderful time in my life.

Rizzoli and Isles haven't solved a new case on TV in nearly six years.
While Tess Gerritsen continues to write new novels on the beloved duo, we've been left with a significant gap in our lives as their lives go on without us bearing witness on-screen.
The iconic duo of Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander were TV staples for over 100 episodes, but what are they (and the rest of the cast) doing now?
In Memorium: Lee Thompson Young -- Detective Barry Frost
Lee Thompson Young, who played Detective Frost (one of Jane Rizzoli's closest co-workers), tragically passed away in 2013 before the filming of Season Five.
Detective Frost's death got handled beautifully by the writers, from his death in Rizzoli and Isles Season 5 Episode 1 to Jane seeing a vision of him in Rizzoli and Isles Season 5 Episode 18.
The episodes throughout Season Five left us crying, laughing, and missing Lee Thompson Young's presence on our screens.

We already know that Sam Waterston’s Jack McCoy and Anthony Anderson’s Kevin Bernard are set to return for NBC’s upcoming Law & Order revival. But it looks like a third familiar face will also make their way back to the Dick Wolf procedural.
“The hope and expectation is that there will be a wonderful surprise every week,” Waterston told Variety, hinting at the return of another popular character. Although he couldn’t reveal who exactly would be dropping by, he did say that they are “one of my favorite people on Earth” and that “you’ll be glad when you see her.

“Law & Order” is bringing back yet another familiar face. While NBC previously announced that Sam Waterston and Anthony Anderson will both be reprising their roles of D.A. Jack McCoy and Detective Kevin Bernard, respectively, they aren’t the only ones stepping back into the courtroom — and the list of possible guest stars is endless.
“One of the wonderful things about doing a television show in New York like this with really juicy parts for visitors is that there’s this extraordinary pool of talent of New York actors. So, the hope and expectation is that there will be a wonderful surprise every week,” Waterston tells Variety, before hinting at one of those surprises. “There is a person coming back in the first show, one of my favorite people on Earth. I’m not allowed to tell who that is, but you’ll be glad when you see her.

“Batman Beyond” voice and casting director Andrea Romano is calling on fans of the animated series to let Warner Bros. know there is a demand for a revival because the team behind the program is more than ready to return with new episodes. The news comes as Warner Bros.’ streaming platform HBO Max is about to world premiere “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” which got greenlit by WarnerMedia after years of fan demand to let Snyder finish his original cut of the 2017 superhero tentpole. Romano sent the message to fans IGN Fan Fest’s “Batman Beyond” table read over the weekend.
“It will depend on the fans asking, and asking, and asking for it until [show owner] Warner Bros. would be foolish not to,” Romano said. “So they have to begin a campaign of sorts and just let Warner Bros. know that that’s what they want. Because we would like to make it,...

Legacies is continuing to evolve in its second season, paying homage to the shows that came before it, as well carving out storylines that will help the mythology continue for the years to come.
TV Fanatic's Carissa Pavlica chatted with Peyton Alex Smith (Rafael), Chris Lee (Kaleb), and Aria Shahgasemi (Landon) at Scad aTVfest this past weekend in Atlanta, and all three dropped hints about what's on tap for the rest of the season.
One of the biggest talking points was Alaric sending some of the students to the prison world to banish them for crimes they committed around Mystic Falls.
"It's something that affects us as a group," says Chris.
"We'll see a lot of conflict with how that affects the students, how it has affected students from the past, and if they find their way back into the school system, and what kind of side they're going to be on.

When Legacies returns from hiatus, there will be a whole new dynamic for one couple.
TV Fanatic's Carissa Pavlica chatted with Danielle Rose Russell, Scad's aTVfest in Atlanta over the weekend, and the Hope Mikaelson actress had a lot to say about what's on top for the remainder of Legacies Season 2 -- and beyond!
If you are a fan of the shows that came before Legacies, then you know that Hope Mikaelson is part witch, part werewolf, and part vampire, or so she's supposed to be.
At the moment, she's activated her witch and werewolf abilities, and fans have been wondering when they might expect her to become a full-fledged tribrid.
"I think that it's a pitch that's hopefully going to happen within the next season or two. I think that becoming a tribrid will really change the entire course of the show, so I think they are being very careful with it.
