Pino Ammendola is an actor, director and writer. He began his career very young, with The Treasure of San Gennaro (1966) next to Nino Manfredi. After graduating in law he has been working extensively in theater together with Achille Millo, who was his teacher, then he has worked with some of the greatest Italian stage actors: Tino Buazzelli, Salvo Randone, Mariangela Melato and Gabriele Lavia. In the last twenty years he has been performing comedies written and directed by himself, some of which have become films. He is best known for the television series The Teacher (2005) and for the movies Göta kanal 2 - Kanalkampen (2006), Carabinieri si nasce (2011), Fade to Black (2006), Stregati dalla luna (2001), A Respectable Man (1999), Uomini sull'orlo di una crisi di nervi (1995), Piedipiatti (1991) and Al bar dello sport (1983)
