Which original “Baywatch” stars want to be part of the planned Fox reboot of the ’90s series?
The cast had mixed feelings when TheWrap talked to them for the new Hulu docuseries “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.”
The most enthusiastic performer was David Chokachi, who played lifeguard Cody Madison from 1995 to 1999 on the series, who said “Yeah, sign me up!” without a moment’s hesitation.
“I’ve been pitching a ‘Baywatch’ reboot for years,” he told TheWrap. “At least once every six or seven years, I’d write to the executive producers, like, ‘Why aren’t you guys rebooting the show?’ And finally, they’re rebooting it.”
He said he’s even written a treatment for where Cody has been since 1999, and how and why he comes back to the show. He added, “I think [a reboot will] absolutely, be really popular again. The message of lifeguarding in general is such a positive message.

Alexandra Paul, who played lifeguard Stephanie Holden on “Baywatch” from 1992 to 1997, is one of several original cast members of the much-maligned NBC drama who feels that the beach and bikini show didn’t get enough credit back in the day.
Paul reminisces about the Malibu beach series in Hulu’s four-episode docuseries “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun,” along with fellow cast members Nicole Eggert, Erika Eleniak, David Chokachi, Carmen Electra, Jeremy Jackson, Traci Bingham and Billy Warlock.

The original Baywatch went off the air 25 years ago, yet it still processes a cultural ubiquity that eclipses arguably every other defunct TV series.
There was a brief spinoff and a panned movie (more of a spoof than a theatrical remake) and, just recently talk of a reboot. But no ancillary project has ever had the sway of the original: an infinitely exportable ode to a Southern California that never really existed, with its frequently recycled cast of hard-bodied Caucasians. So, at long last, it’s getting a documentary.
With participation from a great many former castmembers, including franchise face Pamela Anderson, After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun arrives Aug. 28 on Hulu. Many of them, including Traci Bingham and Erika Eleniak but not Anderson, appeared Wednesday afternoon in Pasadena to plug the project for TV press.

The women of "Baywatch" who are not named Pamela Anderson are reuniting to star on a "docu-comedy." Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D'Errico and Gena Lee Nolin have signed up for "Back to the Bay."
According to Variety, the show will center on the ladies as they embark on a new phase of their career while living together in a beach house.
Eggert, 38, is said to be working on exercise DVDs and raising a 12-year-old daughter; Nolin, 38, has written a book about postpartum depression after giving birth to her third child in 2008; D'Errico, 42, claims to be a "conspiracy theorist" who wants to climb Mt. I’ve had the Baywatch theme stuck in my head all day today. And not just because I’ve got the 1990s on the brain. Nope, it’s because, according to Variety, former Baywatch stars Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D’Errico, and Gena Lee Nolin are starring in Back to the Bay, a “docu-comedy” that will follow the actresses as they “embark on new phases of their career.” But here’s the catch (seemingly the bait to draw folks in who fondly remember those form-fitting red swimsuits): The four actresses will live together in a beach house.

Like four lost, irrelevant molecules, former "Baywatch" stars Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D'Errico and Gena Lee Nolin have bonded together for an upcoming reality series, "Back to the Bay."
A docu-comedy, per Variety, the premise will stick the four women in a beach house to live together, while camera crews explores each of their personal and professional exploits.
And they're eclectic, to say the least. Eggert, easily the more settled of the bunch, is working on a fitness DVD series and bringing up her 12-year-old daughter. Nolin, also a mom, just finished a book about postpartum depression. Bingham opened a dating service, which she plans on using to her own romantic advantage, and the most exciting by far has to be D'Errico. A reported "conspiracy theorist," her big plan is to climb Mt. Aratat to find Noah's Ark.

We loved Davina’s entrance into the Celebrity Big Brother house last night!
Dressed in Nicola’s chicken costume, the Bb presenter had hoped to fool the housemates into thinking that she actually was the former page three model. However, seconds after her entrance Vinnie Jones exclaimed:
‘That’s not Nic!’
And it didn’t take long for them to guess exactly who it was.
Our favourite moment of Davina’s stay, was when Alex threw her over his shoulder, while she screamed and tweeted at the top of her lungs! Check out the video above for more great Davina moments.

Davina McCall will enter the Big Brother house tonight while the housemates are present, for the first time ever.
Apart from her quick commentary to them on each eviction night, Davina never makes contact with the housemates during their time in the house. However tonight the presenter is set to spend several hours with the group, though she won’t be sleeping over.
There is of course going to be a twist. Before the double eviction show, the group will be given a task where they all have to dress up in animal costumes and are told not to speak. The first housemate will be evicted in their animal costume and Davina will then don the costume and enter the house. If all goes to plan, the celebrities won’t even be aware that Davina is in their midst.

Anderson To Make Cameo in 'Baywatch' Movie
Hollywood beauty Pamela Anderson will make a cameo appearance in the forthcoming movie spin-off of TV show Baywatch. Anderson, who starred in the lifeguard soap in the early 1990s, is being lined up by David Hasselhoff to appear in the big screen version alongside other Baywatch cast mates, who are yet to be confirmed but could include Carmen Electra, Erika Eleniak, Yasmine Bleeth and Traci Bingham. The movie's director Eli Roth says, "Pammy and the original girls will most likely do cameos in the movie. For the main cast, they want to go with a new crop of hotties. The other producers spoke to Pamela about it and she said she'd love to do a cameo. For me, it just wouldn't be Baywatch without her." Hasselhoff adds, "The film will be set in different locations around the world. There will be lifeguards who are also sent on crime-busting sprees."...

Traci Bingham Wears Clothes Shocker
Former Baywatch babe Traci Bingham shocked Oscar partygoers by wearing clothes. The dusky maiden is renowned for turning up to events clad in the minimum of material. On Sunday she wore a purple strapless Richard Tyler dress that was laced up the back. She said, "I have clothing on for once. I didn't think I was a big fan of strapless, but I guess I can carry it off. When you've got big breasts like me, it's kind of difficult." She then pointed to a hidden zipper. "It looks like I was sewn into the dress, but I can get in and out. I can sit, I can eat, drink, and dance, or else I wouldn't have worn it."...

Film review: 'Foolish'
In the enjoyable, raunchy "Foolish", wiry stand-up funnyman Eddie Griffin ("Armageddon") and hip-hop Big Man Master P ("I Got the Hook Up") play brothers trying to make it in the comedy business. With many sequences featuring the story-spinning Griffin on stage as the lovably cranky title character, director Dave Meyers' feature debut should score solidly among African American moviegoers.
Commercial and music video director Meyers and screenwriter/co-star Master P amiably flesh out the 84-minute Artisan release with a semi-serious plot revolving around the woes of promising club comic Miles "Foolish" Waise (Griffin), who takes pride in his "storytelling," and Quentin "Fifty Dollah" Waise (Master P), who pulls a stupid prank and becomes entangled with gangsters.
A popular attraction at a local club run by a spooky Italian (Frank Sivero), Foolish is vicious but funny and knows how to entertain a crowd. Unfortunately for his girlfriend, he is angry most of the time. She leaves him after a nasty fight, and he eventually has a falling out with Fifty, who has problems with a humorless mobster (Andrew Dice Clay).
Further complicating matters is the reappearance of Desiree (Amy Petersen), Foolish's high school lover who is dating Fifty and helping the pair start their own comedy show. While Foolish remains unlucky in love, he's further discouraged by the passing of his grandmother (Marla Gibbs). In a goofy sprinkling of mysticism, he talks to "ghosts" who tell him of the "blue light" that shines from the genuinely talented, protecting them when the blues hit.
Filmmaker-actor Bill Duke appears in an amusing scene where Foolish turns down a potential movie deal at Paramount, and "Baywatch" beauty Traci Bingham is featured in many club scenes. There are generous amounts of T&A and enough rude jokes to satisfy any fan.
While executive producer Master P is also present on the soundtrack, the film belongs to Griffin -- and the veteran of several HBO specials and UPN show "Malcolm and Eddie" can be hellaciously crude. But many of his profane rants have bite, and Griffin is quite good in nonperformance scenes. "Foolish" is directed confidently by Meyers, a Loyola Marymount alum.
