Mostly (but not exclusively) focused on cool, older movies (70% are pre-1980), with low view-counts (all <100k ratings. Most<10k). 99% are great movies, but there's also a sprinkling of fascinating trainwrecks, or movies just included for sheer weirdness.

What makes a movie my favorite?  Well I'm not quite sure but the two things I've weighed the most in my consideration are initial impact and re-watch-ability.  That doesn't mean all these films have both.  Some of the most impactful first watches I've had have given me my fill of those films or become less and less fun.  And some of the films that feel like home now were movies that took me several rewatches to warm up to.  But most are movies that I can watch anytime and as many times as I want and still enjoy or feel like time well spent.
