Jimmy Smits (Elijah Strait) was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York; Caitlin McGee (Sydney Strait) is from the greater Boston area; MaameYaa Boafo (Briana Johnson ) was born in Pakistan and raised in Ghana, West Africa; and Barry Sloane (Jake Reilly) is from Liverpool, England. Michael Luwoye (Anthony Little) is the main cast's sole Southerner, having been born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama; he received his acting degree from the University of Alabama, which is in Tuscaloosa.

Getting better

I was not overly impressed with the first episode, but figured i would give the 2nd one a try. Episode by episode it has improved and has caught my attention and had me looking forward to the next episode. I feel this one will continue to improve and captivate the audience. If people were not impressed by the first episode they should give it a try and watch the others.
